The Edifice Watch enables linking the watch to a smartphone that provides access to the correct time not only in the current location but over 300 cities around the world. Additionaly, it allows for alarm setting and control over various other functions from the smartphone that is connected via Bluetooth interface. You may use it to find your phone, set an alarm, adjust hand alignment and operate sound among other things.
CASIO’s original solar-charging system converts not only sunlight but also light from fluorescent lamps and other energy sources into power. The watch contains a large-capacity tough solar power system for long-term usage. With the help of this feature, there remains no need to connect a cable or replace the batteries of the watch time and again.
An app that runs on a smartphone simplifies watch button operations to configure world time settings, and increases the number of selectable cities to 300. It stays synced with the accurate time in any city and the time of the second time zone is displayed in the window at 6 o’clock in the inner dial. This dual dial world time is a dial on the face of the watch that shows the current time in another zone, and a sub-dial to indicate a.m. or p.m.
The watch has an inbuilt LED Light that makes it a super illuminator. This super illuminator of the watch uses high-brightness LED illumination that automatically illuminates the analog face. It gives an afterglow to the watch that illuminates the dial with bright light for excellent visibility in dark places.
A motorsports inspired 1/1000-second stopwatch, it comes with a memory capability of 200 lap time records. Recording a lap time causes the lower right dial to indicate the average speed by the push of a button on the watch. Measurements with an accuracy of up to 1/1000-second can be transferred to your phone with this feature.
Now you can measure speed based on travel time or measure distance based on speed anywhere, at anytime with the tachymeter on this Edifice wristwatch. Keep accuracy at your fingertips and stay on time with the bold time markers and three sub-dials on the bezel of the watch.
The Edifice watch has a stainless steel toned strap with a foldover closure. This build is made with strong, and sturdy materials for the band and case of the watch. The stainless steel material of the band and case makes it a reliable and long term wear.
The water resistance depth of the watch is 100 meters i.e. 10 Bar. ISO 22810 verified, the watch is water resistant upto 10 atmospheres. In summary, the watch has a 100m water resistance depth to avoid possible water damages for prolonged use.
